Our precast concrete fences were developed in 1982, and trademarked as Woodcrete®, Fencestone®, Brickcrete® and Cedarcrete®, and were designed to withstand deterioration related to termites, ground movement and weather conditions. And unlike other wall and fence materials, our precast concrete products will not rot, warp or fade. Our precast concrete fences are designed to appear as if they are made of natural stone, crafted wood or weathered brick and should the fences become damaged by collision, repairs are fast and easy.

Our concrete walls and concrete fence products consist of professionally engineered, precision-manufactured, steel-reinforced modular concrete components that interlock during the installation process. During the manufacturing process permanent color is added to the wet concrete mix to assure that future painting will not be necessary. However, if desired, the fences can be stained or painted at a later date as a design feature. Why Building With Post-and-Panel Precast Walling Makes Financial Sense

Precast post and panel systems are manufactured under controlled conditions and then assembled at the project site which eliminates some of the on-site risks associated with traditional wall and fence construction. Additionally, precast walls can be assembled quickly which saves on labor expense and can shorten the timeline for an overall project's completion. With our precast systems, piers are dug and the post set into the piers; concrete is poured to secure the posts, and then the panels and caps are slid into place. Are Precast Concrete Fences Appropriate for Green Projects?

In short, yes. There are lots of options for building perimeter walls, view barriers, retaining walls and the like so how do you sort them all out? The standard default is still concrete block (CMU- concrete masonry units) but there are other products that may be better. Products like FenceStone, BrickCrete and WoodCrete have a number of greener features. The list is long but according to our resident paint expert (formally of Sherwin Williams) one of the great benefits of precast concrete walls is that they are integrally colored with iron oxide pigments and this is a big deal. The color is added to the mix in liquid form during the manufacture of the precast concrete components so there is no need for on-site staining or painting. This eliminates the release of VOCs at the job site which can be inhaled or released into the atmosphere. An important consideration in any project is time - will this subcontractor and this product shorten my project timeframe? In many cases, the walling is the last part of the project and the ability to get it done quickly is important.

WoodCrete is a precast concrete fence that creates the appearance of a board-on-board shiplap design. It looks like wood but has the strength, durability and sound attenuation (sound reduction) properties of concrete. The other added benefit is that it will not rot, warp or fade like wood can so that means little or no maintenance. Now that's a great value. Are You A Fence Company, Materials Supplier, or Concrete Forms Company?

The fact is that we do all of this. Artisan Precast is primarily a precast concrete fence company but we are more than that. Yes, we do have a terrific reputation for installing beautiful concrete walls and fences all over the country. But we also sell our material to others - fence companies, contractors, developers, cities, homeowners and others who install the product themselves. We also design and manufacture our own concrete molding system which sets us apart from others.
In our facilities we design, develop and manufacture concrete molding forms for our own use to make our beautiful precast walls and fences. In certain cases, we sell those molds to companies in other countries who want to replicate our concrete fence product in their markets. We think that making our own molds gives us a better understanding of the product and makes us better at what we do as a fence company. It also means we always have the latest and best molds to produce a superior looking product. It also means that selling molds is not primarily what we do - our primary focus is providing a superior concrete fence product to the market. So, if someone wants to buy molds from us, it's not a hard sell. We think the concrete forms we make are the best in the market and offer the user the most flexible concrete fencing system available at a fair price. So, if that is important to the buyer then we have what they need. But our mold business is not driven by sales of molds but rather by creating and making molds that work for us as a fence company. All Precast Fence Systems Are Not The Same

There are many types of precast fencing but you want to look for those brands that have been in the field and tested for a very long time.
